The boy who started hitting football through the streets of Brazil and the boy who had faced many difficulties due to financial problems became one of the most expensive footballer in the world at his age of 21.
Now I am going to tell you about the story of World Famous footballer, Neymar.
Neymar da Silva Santos Junior was born on 5th February, 1992 in Mogidas Cruzes, Brazil as the son of Nadine Santos and Neymar Santos Sr. His family lead a very poor life and his father was a very low level player in Sao Paulo FC. His father was not able to afford his family by only playing football, so he just sat around doing other small chores.
When Neymar was old enough to go to school, he joined a regular school in Sao Paulo where street students study.
At that times when he went back from school to his home, he had studied under the light of a burning candle because of the lack of electricity in his home. If we say about his poverty, there is a time when they had to leave their home and settle in his grandfather's house. So he went through that much poverty in his life.
After realizing that Neymar had a passion in football, his father taught him to play football. He also learned many skills from his father. Later Neymar, who had played football in streets began to play football in futsal grounds. His father also greatly supported him by teaching many skills.
In this times because of several injuries, his father stopped playing football. The condition of the family got worse day by day. Thinking of his son, Neymar's dream and passion, his father done all the jobs which he can do with maximum effort.
In 1999, at his age of 7, Neymar got selection in a club. At first time he wore boots for Portuguese Santista Youth Club.
Because of his maximum dedication he got selection in Santos FC at his age of 11, in 2003. From then on, there were several ups and downs in Neymar's life. After getting selected in Santos FC, all his education cost was borne by the club. Later the quality of his family had been risen.
In his age of 15, he got a chance to play in under 18 tournament. After his performance in that match, the country started to talk about him. He got 2 lakhs as his benefit for that match in his age of 15 and after a year in his age of 16, the benefit had risen to 22 lakhs. After that the family had settled and they bought a new house with the salary of Neymar.
In his age of 17, Neymar had signed his full contract for the main team of Santos FC.
Even when his family had led a poor life, they had supported Neymar a lot in playing football. This made Neymar to change a lot and to improve his skills. He celebrated his 20th birthday by completing his 100th goal.
In 2012, he got an achievement as the best South American player by scoring 136 goals in 223 appearances. In 2013, when Neymar came in Barcelona, the MSN - Mesi, Suarez, Neymar had presented exciting performances in their matches which the world had never seen before. In 2013 - 2014 seasons, Neymar scored 105 goals in 180 appearances.
As the time went on, in 2017, Neymar joined the PSG club with his record salary. He had signed the contract from 2017 - 2022.
In 2010, Brazil rejected Neymar because of the lack of experience for playing in FIFA. That Neymar itself won and gave Silver medal for Brazil in Olympics 2012 and won Gold for Brazil in Rio Olympics 2016.
Without minding any criticism against him still now Neymar is continuing his football life.
