Today I will tell you about the story of Thalapathy Vijay.

Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar was born on 22 June, 1974. He was born in a movie family or his family was related to film industry. His father, S.A Chandrasekhar was a film producer and a director and his mother, Shoba Chandrasekhar was a playback singer. Comparing from other children, Vijay was a hyperactive child and was a very naughty boy.

After some years, a new member had born in their family, it was Vijay's sister. At that time when the family was leading a happy life, suddenly one day his sister had died. After the death of his loving sister, it caused Vijay who was a hyperactive child to move through a depression stage. He then started spending his time sitting alone. Although his father and mother had survived the tragedy of their daughter's death, but Vijay didn't. He completely had changed from his old character. He became silent and dl sits alone.

To overcome his depression stage, his father made him to act in movies. In 1984, Vijay appeared as a child character in the film 'Vetri'. It was his first film. At the starting of the film shoot, Vijay was very active but at the end, he again became silent.

When Vijay was studying in his college, he thought of being an actor. Then he took his first step for his passion from there. Firstly, he dropped out from his college and quitted his studies. He told his father that he want to work for film industry and to become an actor. But his father didn't accept it. His father introduced the negative side of film industry to him. There is not only positive sides but there was also many negative sides in film industry. Although his father tried to convince him but he didn't quit his passion. At last his father agreed.

When his father made him to act as several characters, his father realized that Vijay's carrier is to act in movies.

In 1992, he entered the film industry as an authority. He acted in the film, 'Naalaiya Theerppu', produced by his father.

He had presented his maximum performance in this film, but this film which had released in 22nd December and after three days, many negative comments have been reported. One of the greatest comment was that "Vijay don't know to act".

When the world was celebrating Christmas on 25th December, Vijay was bursting into tears. That night on December, 1992, Vijay decided that if he had a future, it will be in film industry and he will become an actor. Lots of criticism emerged against him but he didn't mind it. He took only the positive side of criticism and moved forward with his films one by one.

In 1996, four years after Vijay had started his acting carrier, he got a breakthrough. After that in 2004, his movie,'Ghilli' has released. After this everyone accepted Vijay as a better actor and he had grown into the level of a superstar. With his ability of acting, he had changed the people who criticized him into his fans. He had conquered his dreams with determination and hard work. He also had an achievement for being one of the high paid actors in India.

Beyond an actor, Vijay was also a social activist. He had done many charity works. He also had an organization named 'Vijay people organization'.

Vijay, who never minded the criticism against him and who worked much harder for his dream had achieved it.

There are many people who says that Vijay became an actor because his father was a director and producer. But it was not because of his father, it was his determination and hard work which made him an actor.

There is a quote said by Vijay, "Fly Above Negativity". There are many people to criticize us when we do something. Try to fly above that. Never mind what others say. Hold your determination tightly and move forward. Surely, one day you will meet success.
